Lech Kaniuk is a Polish-Swedish entrepreneur, investor and author, known for creating and developing innovative technology companies. He is the co-founder of such brands as PizzaPortal.co.uk, iTaxi, Bean & Buddies and SunRoof.

Career and achievements

He started his business adventure in Sweden, where as an 18-year-old he sold his first technology solutions to Wargon Alloys. At the age of 20, he became the youngest innovation advisor at state-owned ALMI Företagspartner. He co-founded OnlinePizza Norden AB, and moved to Lodz in 2009 to found PizzaPortal.co.uk. In 2012, the group was sold to Germany's Delivery Hero for 120 million zlotys.

In 2013, he began investing as a business angel, getting involved in projects such as iTaxi, ePark, Prowly.com, Migam.org and SunRoof. In 2016, he took over as president of iTaxi and currently serves on the company's board of directors.

Kaniuk is currently focused on developing SunRoof, a company specializing in solar roofs to accelerate the energy transition in Europe. SunRoof builds roofs integrated with solar panels, offering an alternative to traditional roofing.
