Apps

Let customers configure the product before a sales rep picks up the phone.

Dimensions, materials, colours, add-ons. The more options there are, the harder it is to put a quote together quickly. We build configurators that guide customers through their choices and collect the details you need for a quote or an order.

Scope

From choosing a variant to a concrete enquiry

Apps

Product selection rules

We map out the dependencies between variants. Customers see which combinations are available and are told when their configuration needs changing.

Apps

Price or quote request

We implement pricing based on agreed rules or pass the configuration on for an individual quote. You decide when customers see the price.

Apps

Preview of selected options

We present variants with photos, diagrams or visualisations. We match the 2D or 3D scope to the product and the materials available.

Handover to sales

We save the customer's choices and send them to your CRM, basket or sales team. Every quote starts from a concrete specification.

The customer chooses the product, and you get a concrete enquiry

With products that come in many variants, a sale often starts with a long back-and-forth. Dimensions, material, fittings and every dependency need to be settled before a sales rep can prepare a quote. A configurator guides customers through these choices directly on your website. It shows the available options, explains the differences and collects the information needed for the next step. Customers can compare their options at their own pace before contacting your company.

Your team receives an organised specification instead of a vague question about price. Sales reps can focus on advice, terms and closing the sale. This works both for technical products and for offers that need tailoring to a space or to individual preferences. We design the journey so that someone without specialist knowledge can choose a variant and understand exactly what they're ordering.

Show what the product can do and make the buying decision easier

Material names and variant codes don't always tell customers what the finished product will look like. That's why a configurator can link choices to photos, diagrams, a 2D preview or a 3D visualisation. We choose the presentation to suit the offer and the decision the buyer needs to make. For a simpler product, a clear photo and a comparison of options are enough. For a more complex one, it's worth showing how changes affect the whole set.

The selection logic matters just as much. We can hide unavailable combinations, suggest required add-ons and explain technical limitations. If your sales model allows it, the configurator recalculates the price as the customer goes. If every quote needs a sales rep's review, it ends with a clear summary and an enquiry. The customer knows what they've chosen, and your company receives the data in a form that's useful for what comes next.

Connect configuration with quoting and order fulfilment

A configurator can be the start of a process that covers sales, preparing the quote and handing the order over for fulfilment. We save the selected parameters in your CRM, pass them to the basket or use them to generate a summary document. We decide which data should go to the sales rep and which is needed on the operations side. That way, the information customers enter can be used at later stages too.

We work with your team to organise the pricing rules, variants and dependencies. We can build a panel for updating selected parts of the offer, so changing a price or adding an option doesn't require a developer every time. We also test unusual combinations and situations that call for an individual decision. You get a tool that supports sales on your website and makes life easier for the people preparing orders, instead of adding yet another separate step.

How we turn a catalogue into a configurator

Variants and dependencies

We gather the available options, constraints and pricing rules.

Selection journey

We order the questions so customers can choose the product on their own.

We decide how to present the configuration and what materials are needed.

Logic and integrations

We build the pricing logic and the data handover for further processing.

Configuration testing

We check combinations, prices and how unusual orders behave.

FAQ

Questions before you start a project

Don't see your question? Write to us - we'll be happy to answer.

Does every configurator have to be 3D?

No. In many cases, photos, diagrams and a clear summary are enough. A 3D visualisation is worth considering when it helps customers assess the product and justifies the cost of preparing the models.

Can we hide the price and collect enquiries instead?

Yes. The configurator can end by sending the specification to a sales rep. You can also show an indicative price, clearly labelled as such.

Can the configurator be connected to our existing online store?

Yes, if the platform offers the right integration options. We check how it handles variants, prices, the basket and passing on additional parameters.

How many questions do you ask customers before preparing a quote?

Send us an example product, its variants and how you price it. We'll see which decisions customers can make on their own.
