E-commerce

The customer is already in your shop. What's stopping them from buying?

More traffic won't fix an unclear offer or a difficult basket. We find where users drop off, set priorities and implement changes whose impact on sales can be measured.

Scope

Improve what drives the decision to buy

E-commerce

Measuring the purchase path

We verify events and the sales funnel. We separate a lack of interest in the offer from problems with navigation, payment or the tracking itself.

E-commerce

Product page and basket

We tidy up information about the product, delivery and purchase. We simplify forms and remove ambiguity at the key moments of the decision.

E-commerce

Speed and mobile usability

We look for loading and usability problems on mobile. We make fixes where the issues affect real users.

E-commerce

Experiments and next changes

We formulate hypotheses and choose how to test them. With enough traffic we run A/B tests, and we assess the results in the context of sales.

Make better use of the traffic you already pay for

Visitors arrive at your shop, but some of them leave before adding a product to the basket or abandon the purchase at the last step. Before you increase your spend on acquiring traffic, it is worth finding out what happens after people land on the site. We review the purchase path, behaviour on different devices and the points where people drop off. We start by verifying the tracking, so that decisions are based on data you can trust.

We combine analysis with an assessment of the shopping experience itself. We look for missing information, difficult forms, payment problems and elements that distract from the decision. You get a list of specific changes with the reasoning behind their priority. It is clear what we want to improve, why we are starting in that particular place and how we will judge the effect. This way the shop's development can be linked to business results, not just to a change in how the site looks.

Remove the doubts that stop customers from buying

Buyers want to know whether a product meets their need, when they will receive it and how much they will pay in the end. If they have to search for this information, the decision becomes harder. We tidy up product pages, the presentation of variants, delivery costs and messages in the basket. We make it easier to compare options and move on to payment. We make changes in the places that matter for your type of customer and product range.

We also check mobile usability, loading speed and how forms behave. With an extensive offer we analyse search and filters, and where a sale needs a consultation, we also look at the path to an enquiry. We can develop product recommendations, bundles and post-purchase communication if they fit the shop's model. The aim is to create conditions in which customers understand the offer more easily, make a decision and complete their order without unnecessary obstacles.

Check which changes help you sell

An idea for a new button or basket layout is a hypothesis worth testing. We set the metrics and choose a way of testing the change that suits the available traffic. With enough users we can compare variants in an A/B test. In a smaller shop we start by removing obvious errors, usability research and careful observation of the results. We do not attribute every change in sales solely to a new look for the site.

We take into account seasonality, promotions, traffic sources and the structure of orders. Depending on the goal, we analyse checkout completion, basket value or the number of enquiries. Then we decide what to keep, what to improve and which experiment to run next. Optimisation becomes a regular process of developing your sales. Instead of rebuilding the shop based on opinions, you build up knowledge of what helps your customers buy and where it is worth investing next.

Process

From data to proven improvements

Checking the tracking

We verify whether the data lets us assess how buyers behave.

Diagnosing drop-offs

We analyse the funnel, devices and key paths.

List of hypotheses

We rank ideas by impact, cost and whether they can be measured.

Implementing changes

We improve selected elements and run the agreed experiments.

Assessing the results

We compare results and decide on the next changes.

FAQ

Questions before you start a project

Don't see your question? Write to us - we'll be happy to answer.

Do you guarantee an increase in sales?

We don't promise results without data and testing. Sales also depend on your offer, prices, seasonality and the quality of traffic. We set metrics and check the impact of specific changes.

Do A/B tests make sense for a small shop?

Not always. With little traffic, getting a result may require too long a test. In that case we start with tracking, usability analysis and removing obvious obstacles.

Do we need to rebuild the whole shop?

Not necessarily. We often start with the product page, basket or mobile version. The scope comes from the diagnosis, not from assuming that a full redesign is needed.

What else we can combine with this project

Before you increase your ad budget, check the purchase path.

Send us your shop's address and tell us which result you want to improve. We'll work out which data and changes are worth starting with.
