Privacy policy of internetstars.pl

This Privacy policy explains how we process the personal data of people who visit internetstars.pl (the “Website”), contact us or use the AI chat available on the Website.

1. General information

The controller of personal data is iSTARS Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at ul. Piotrkowska 148/150, 90-063 Łódź, NIP (tax ID): 5213470703, KRS: 0000298516 (the “Controller”, “we”).

For matters concerning personal data, you can contact us at biuro@internetstars.pl or by post at the registered office address given above.

2. What data we process

The scope of data depends on how you use the Website. We may process:

data provided in the contact form, by email or during a conversation, in particular your first name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your enquiry;

data provided while using the AI chat, including the content of your questions and information you voluntarily share in the conversation;

technical data related to the use of the Website, such as IP address, date and time of the visit, browser and device information, pages visited and data stored using cookies or similar technologies;

data on consents and privacy settings selected on the Website.

We do not ask you to send especially sensitive data via the form or chat, such as health data, beliefs or identity documents. If such data is not needed to handle your matter, please do not provide it.

3. Purposes and legal bases of processing

We process data for the following purposes:

Responding to enquiries and handling correspondence. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling correspondence and business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). If the contact concerns taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, the legal basis may also be Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Preparing an offer, holding talks about cooperation, and concluding and performing a contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the data subject is a party to the contract, or our legitimate interest in maintaining business relationships (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) where we contact a company representative.

Operating the AI chat and answering questions asked through it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing this feature and handling user enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Ensuring the operation and security of the Website, detecting errors and preventing abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure Website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analysing the use of the Website and improving how it works. For personal data processed using optional analytics tools, the legal basis is the user's consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Storing or reading information on the device follows the rules described in the section on cookies.

Carrying out marketing activities, including measuring advertising effectiveness. Where these activities require optional cookies or similar technologies, we use them after obtaining consent. Commercial information is sent, or direct marketing carried out, by electronic means of communication only after obtaining the required consent for the given contact channel.

Establishing, pursuing or defending claims. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Fulfilling legal obligations, where applicable, in particular accounting and tax obligations. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Sending an enquiry does not automatically mean consent to receive a newsletter or marketing contact from our partners. Data may be passed on to a specific partner to handle an enquiry about their services if the user requests it or has been properly informed about it and there is an appropriate legal basis.

4. AI chat

The AI chat provides preliminary information about Internet Stars' business and services. Answers are generated automatically, may contain errors and require verification in matters of business or legal significance. Indicative prices and scopes of work given in the chat do not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code.

The content of the conversation may be processed to generate answers and handle your enquiry. Please do not enter passwords, access credentials, especially sensitive data or confidential information into the chat unless sharing it is necessary.

Using the chat alone does not result in a decision being taken about the user that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects them. The terms of any cooperation are agreed separately.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some of them are necessary for the site to work properly, to keep it secure or to remember your privacy settings. Others may be used to analyse traffic, measure advertising effectiveness and tailor marketing communication.

The Website may use tools provided by third parties, in particular Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel. Google Tag Manager is used to manage the code of tools used on the site; the specific technologies for storing or reading data depend on the tools launched through it.

Technologies that are not necessary to provide the service requested by the user should only be launched after obtaining the required consent. Users can choose the categories of optional technologies and change their decision in the cookie settings available on the Website. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

Cookies can also be managed in your browser settings. Blocking necessary technologies may affect how some features of the Website work.

Detailed information about the cookies currently in use, their providers, purposes and lifetimes should be available in the cookie settings panel. This list must match the tools actually running on the Website.

6. Data recipients

Data may be accessed by authorised persons working with the Controller and by providers of services needed to run the Website and handle enquiries, for example providers of hosting, email, analytics and marketing tools or the technology used by the AI chat. These entities process data in line with their role and on an appropriate legal basis, including data processing agreements where required.

Data may be disclosed to public authorities where required by applicable law.

7. Transfers of data outside the European Economic Area

Using the services of some technology providers may involve transferring data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, we use an appropriate mechanism provided for in the GDPR, for example a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, together with additional safeguards where needed.

Information about the mechanism used for a specific provider can be obtained by contacting us at biuro@internetstars.pl.

8. How long we keep data

We keep data from correspondence and enquiries for as long as needed to handle the matter and hold talks about cooperation, and then for the period during which related claims may arise or be pursued.

We keep data related to a concluded contract for the duration of its performance and, after it ends, for the period required by law or needed to establish, pursue or defend claims.

We keep data processed on the basis of consent until it is withdrawn or until the purpose of processing ends earlier, unless there is another basis for further storage of specific data. Technical data, security records and cookie data are kept for a period resulting from their function and settings. The lifetimes of individual cookies should be indicated in the cookie settings panel.

9. Rights of data subjects

In the cases provided for by the GDPR, users have the right to:

access their data and receive a copy of it;

rectify their data;

erase their data;

restrict processing;

data portability;

object to the processing of data based on our legitimate interest, including direct marketing;

withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise these rights, write to biuro@internetstars.pl. The scope of each right depends on the basis and circumstances of processing.

Anyone who believes their data is being processed unlawfully has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office.

10. Is providing data mandatory?

Using the publicly available content of the Website does not require filling in the contact form. Providing data in the form, by email or in the chat is voluntary, but without the data needed to respond we may be unable to handle your enquiry.

11. Links to other websites

The Website may contain links to websites and services of other entities. Once you go to such a website, the privacy rules of its operator apply.
