What the project was about

SPASS helps people find activities nearby, sign up for classes, check availability and book a spot. It connects individual users, organisers, sports venues and companies offering activities to their employees as benefits - as a marketplace, a social network and a benefits platform in one.

SPASS also helps build a community, because physical activity often becomes more appealing when you can do it with other people. Today's users are not looking for just a list of events but for an experience: they want to know what is happening nearby, who runs the classes, whether they can join spontaneously and meet people with similar interests.

The platform can grow in many directions: from local activities and events, through social features and gamification, to integrations with employee benefits and industry partners. More personalisation and activity recommendations based on user preferences are also possible. Here, technology supports being active not only through measurement or tracking, but by genuinely making it easier to reach sport, people and organisers.
