What the project was about

Browsing portals from many countries by hand takes time, and good offers disappear fast. MotoGiełda collects listings from European marketplaces, compares prices with the estimated market value and alerts dealers to cars that match their criteria.

In practice, this saves time: instead of browsing dozens of portals and hundreds of listings by hand, the user gets data that is already filtered and organised. The system spots deals faster than a person, so purchase decisions are made at the right moment, and analysis of historical and current data gives a better understanding of price trends and seller behaviour.

When a company grows and needs to monitor more sources, models or markets, a manual process quickly becomes a bottleneck. An automated system grows with the business: it handles more and more data without the team having to grow at the same pace.

The platform can be developed in many directions: from automatic vehicle valuation and price change alerts to integrations with more data sources, sales panels or fleet management tools. Predictive features are also possible, suggesting when a given model will be a particularly good buy.
