1. A clearly defined problem
The app must solve a specific, real-world and common problem faced by users.
2. Unique Selling Proposition (USP)
It must have something the competition doesn’t have -> faster, cheaper, simpler or smarter.
3. Intuitive UX/UI
Users should be able to work out how to use the app without instructions.
4. Speed and stability
No lag, no crashes – key to user retention.

5. A viable business model
In other words, a way of making money that scales with the number of users.
6. Automation and AI
The current standard: an app should make things easier for the user, rather than requiring them to do extra work.
7. Scalable architecture
The ability to support hundreds of thousands of users without having to overhaul the entire system.
8. Simple onboarding
Sign up and get started in 30–60 seconds. Ideally, use social login – that is, sign in via Google, Facebook or Apple.
9. A well-designed retention loop
Reasons to return to the app: goals, reminders, rewards, personalisation. And, of course, the recurring ‘problem’ mentioned in point 1

10. Marketing-ready
Features that help an app go viral: sharing, referrals, rankings, results and social proof. Every successful app has its own marketing strategy, which it uses to attract customers.
11. Legal compliance and data security
GDPR, encryption, a clear privacy policy – particularly important for B2C and sensitive data
12. Integrations with popular tools
e.g. Fakturownia, Stripe, Google, WhatsApp, CRM systems and many others, depending on the sector
13. Data analysis and measurability
KPIs, heatmaps, funnels – without these, you won’t know what to improve in your app.
We look forward to hearing your ideas – perhaps one of them will be put into practice in 2026.
Shall we find out together?
