Ranking of the top 9 e-commerce solutions

A store can attract thousands of visitors and still lose sales. A customer finds an ad, lands on the site, looks at a product and then gives up: they cannot choose the right variant, see no credible information about availability or find no convenient payment method. Sometimes the purchase goes through, but a delayed delivery means the customer never comes back.

That is why conversion in e-commerce is the result of the whole sales process working well. In a list of conversion-boosting solutions for 2026 published by “E-commerce w Praktyce”, nine companies supporting different stages of this process were featured, Internet Stars among them. The ranking was prepared by Rankwise; the publication is marked as advertising material, and the companies are presented in random order. It is therefore best treated as an overview of possible directions for developing a store, not as a league table.

What does this list mean for an e-commerce owner? Above all, that sales growth does not always require a bigger advertising budget. Removing the obstacles that customers who are already interested in the offer run into often brings more value.

Conversion starts before the cart

When we talk about conversion optimisation, it is easy to focus on the “Buy now” button, the look of the product page or the number of fields in a form. These matter, but a customer can drop out much earlier. Perhaps they did not find a product that suited their needs. Perhaps they needed a quote, and the store answered only the next day.

On the other hand, the next sale is influenced by what happens after payment. Up-to-date stock levels, on-time dispatch and easy returns build the trust needed for a repeat purchase.

The ranking covers solutions for product advice, store platforms, payments, order handling, logistics, affiliate marketing and custom software. Their shared goal is to make it easier for a customer to get from need to purchase, and to make sure the store can fulfil the order efficiently once it is placed.

1. Help the customer find the right product

With a wide range, a large choice can be a problem. The customer knows what they need the product for, but not its technical parameters or the name of the category. A classic search box and a set of filters may then not be enough.

The Ideo AI Shopping Assistant described in the ranking lets a customer state their need in their own words. The assistant asks follow-up questions, uses product data and leads to the right offer. If the chosen product is unavailable, it can suggest an alternative.

The benefit for e-commerce is concrete: fewer customers end their visit at the product search stage. Conversations with the assistant can also reveal questions that descriptions, photos and product pages do not answer. That is material for improving the whole store.

This kind of solution makes the most sense where a purchase requires matching: in home furnishings, electronics, specialist products or catalogues with a large number of variants. Its effectiveness depends on up-to-date data on the offer, prices and availability. Simply adding a chat window will not replace organised product information.

2. Remove obstacles at payment

A customer who has reached the cart is close to buying. At this stage, the obstacle can be a missing preferred payment method, an unclear checkout process or a technical problem.

Przelewy24 represents the payments area in the ranking. Access to BLIK, digital wallets, instant transfers, instalments or deferred payments gives the customer more freedom of choice. For more expensive products, financing can help someone who is set on buying but does not want to pay the whole amount at once. In international sales, currency support also matters.

A wide range of payment methods will not solve every cart problem, though. The store should also check whether the customer knows the total cost of the order, the delivery date and the returns rules before they start paying. If this information appears too late, an extra payment method may change little.

3. Get the technical foundations of the store right

A slow site, an unclear cart or inconsistent product information make buying harder regardless of how good the ad campaign is. In the ranking, this area is represented by, among others, Selly and IdoSell.

Selly combines a store platform with the ability to adapt it to the seller’s needs. From the customer’s perspective, what matters is speed, a convenient cart and smooth movement between purchase steps. For the company, automation and support for different sales models from one environment also matter.

IdoSell supports stores that grow sales across many channels and must manage the offer, orders, warehouse and payments at the same time. When this information is connected, it is easier to show the customer current availability and take an order that can be fulfilled as promised.

So the benefit of a good platform is not only how the site looks. It is also a lower risk of errors and a greater ability to handle growing sales. The choice of platform should follow from the store’s business model: the number of products, sales channels, B2B needs and required integrations.

4. Connect sales channels with the warehouse and order handling

An online store, a marketplace and B2B sales can draw on the same stock. If each channel works on different data, the company risks selling a product that is no longer there, or wastes time correcting orders by hand.

Apilo is the ranking’s example of an OMS: a system that connects sales channels, orders, stock levels, documents and shipping. For the customer, the effect can be simple: they see an available product, receive a confirmation and do not have to contact the store to sort out a mistake. For the store’s team, it means fewer manual tasks and easier handling of more orders.

The impact of such tools on conversion is partly indirect. An order management system alone will not automatically make more people click “Buy and pay”. But it can cut cancellations, improve delivery quality and raise the chance of another purchase. That is why it is worth measuring not only the number of orders but also the share of orders fulfilled without error.

5. Treat delivery and returns as part of the shopping experience

A customer also judges a store by whether the parcel arrived on time and in good condition. The delivery date can influence the first decision to buy, and the way a problem is handled can influence the decision to return.

In the ranking, 3LP represents logistics and fulfilment: storage, picking, packing, transport and returns handling. For a growing store, working with an operator can mean being able to handle seasonal sales peaks without expanding its own warehouse at the same pace.

The most important benefit for e-commerce is being able to keep the promise made to the customer at the time of purchase. This is especially important for products that are hard to store and ship, for high order volumes and for periods such as the Christmas peak.

6. Check where customers really drop out

Not every cause of low sales shows up in basic reports. Users may get lost when choosing a variant, switch between phone and computer, or contact support for information they could not find on the site.

Univio is the ranking’s example of an approach based on customer journey analysis, research and testing changes. Instead of assuming that the problem is a particular button or screen, a company can examine user behaviour and establish where the barrier appears.

This is an important principle for smaller stores too. Even without an extensive CRO programme, you can start with a few questions: which product pages do customers leave most often, at which stage of the cart do they give up, what do they ask before buying and what reasons do they give for returns. Only on this basis is it worth deciding the order of changes.

7. Win sales through partners once the store is ready for more traffic

Not all the solutions in the ranking work inside the store. webePartners grows sales through affiliate marketing: cooperation with publishers, creators and other partners who send customers to the offer. In the Cost Per Sale model described, the commission is tied to the sales generated.

For a store, the benefit is access to an additional channel for winning orders, and the ability to assess its results. Affiliate marketing can work particularly well when a potential customer looks for comparisons, guides or recommendations before buying.

It is worth making sure first, though, that the store is ready for more traffic. If product descriptions are unclear, the cart causes problems and order fulfilment is already overloaded, a new customer acquisition channel may only magnify existing difficulties.

8. Match the technology to how the company really sells

A ready-made platform is a good starting point for many stores. Over time, though, a company may develop a process that standard features do not support: made-to-order configurable products, individual B2B prices, quotes that depend on many parameters, or sales tied to an ERP system and the warehouse.

This is the area where the ranking lists Internet Stars. We build and develop apps, integrations and automations tailored to how a specific company works. From a conversion perspective, the question that matters to us is: what makes it hard for the customer to get from interest in a product to placing an order?

The answer may be a configurator that lets the customer choose the product variant themselves. It may be a B2B portal showing the right price list and purchase history, automatic preparation of a quote, or a link between the store and an ERP that provides up-to-date availability information. Sometimes the biggest change comes from replying faster to a customer enquiry thanks to automating the team’s work.

Such implementations are worth assessing by their impact on a specific stage of sales. Does the customer get a quote faster? Do they complete product configuration more often? Do fewer orders need manual correction? Technology should solve an identified problem, and its effect should be verifiable.

How do you choose the first area to improve?

The ranking shows many possibilities, but a store does not need to implement them all at once. It is best to start where it currently loses the most value.

If users view products but rarely add them to the cart, check the quality of descriptions, the availability of variants, the search and the way you advise customers. If they add products but do not complete purchases, look at delivery costs, the form and the payment methods. If orders are placed but mistakes often occur, analyse data synchronisation, warehouse work and shipment fulfilment.

A simple set of indicators helps: progression from product page to cart, payments started and completed, the share of cancelled orders, delivery punctuality, the number of support tickets and the share of returning customers. This data lets you judge whether a change really helps, rather than basing the decision only on the impression that the store looks better.

For example: with 100,000 visits a month, a rise in the conversion rate from 2% to 2.3% means 300 extra orders for the same number of visits. This example shows the scale of a possible effect; it is not a promise of a result after implementing a particular tool. The value of a change will also depend on margin, implementation cost and the quality of handling the additional orders.

What does the ranking mean for e-commerce?

The overview published by “E-commerce w Praktyce” is a reminder that no single universal tool improves conversion. The customer needs to find the right product, understand the offer, pay conveniently and receive the order as promised. The company, in turn, needs processes that let it repeat this experience even as sales grow.

That is why, before choosing a platform, an AI assistant, a logistics operator or another integration, it is worth naming the business problem and deciding how to measure it. If the biggest obstacle is an unusual sales process, it can be turned into a custom technology solution.

At Internet Stars, we help e-commerce companies find such obstacles and design solutions tailored to their sales, from integrations and automations to configurators, B2B portals and apps. If you want to check where your store loses orders or team time, let’s talk about its sales process.
